Can my children go with me on the F1 Offshore Explorer Tour?
Yes, children age 7 and over are welcome on the tour. Your children will have blast on both the F1 Offshore Explorer and the ATV Explorer tours. Make your reservations early so they won't miss a vacation opportunity of a lifetime.
Is there a transportation charge?
No, transportation is included in the F1 Offshore Explorer Tour. Our van will pick you up at or near your hotel.
Do I have to bring my own snorkel gear?
No, everything you need is provided, including refreshments and a meal. Don't forget to bring a towel, swimsuit, and bio-degradable sunscreen. You might also want to bring money for souvenirs.
How many people will be on each boat?
Each F1 Offshore Explorer will hold 12 - 14 plus the crew depending on the make-up of the tour. Normally, each tour includes two F1 boats, but on occasion we may offer the tour with only one. When you consider that there are thousands of tourists on the Riviera Maya everyday, you can see that the F1 Offshore Explorer tour is quite exclusive as there are only about 50 participants each day. This is another reason why you should reserve your seats early.
When and how do I pay?
Once you make your reservation request, we will confirm availability and provide you with payment options. Any balance due at the time of your tour must be paid in cash only. No credit cards are accepted at the tour. ATM machines and Money Changers are readily available in Playa del Carmen. Notify your bank prior to leaving the US if you plan to use your debit card for cash. (Recommended)
Can I take both the F1 Offshore Explorer Tour and ATV Explorer Tour the same day?
Yes, and doing so can save some money. You can take the morning ATV Explorer tour and afternoon F1 Offshore Explorer tour or take the morning F1 Offshore Explorer Tour and the afternoon ATV Explorer tour. The combined rates are:
